The condition of "Silent Partner" upon first making an offer to the insurance company last december (2005). She's a 1980 38' Mark II Hans Christian built by Hai'O Yachts. Fiberglass hull of very strong construction (over 1" thick in many places), with a cutter rig and full keel with moderatly cutaway forefoot. Note "wind bugger" wind generator, and lavish use of teak. Teak decking was removed and decks sealed with epoxy, with intent of returning with teak.
